EuroStrings is the first European platform in the field of classical guitar founded by the Zagreb Guitar Festival. It gathers 17 classical guitar festivals united under an important common goal: further education and professional development of emerging guitar players. As a part of this process, two different kinds of contests were created: EuroStrings Guitar Competition and EuroStrings Composition Contest.

The EuroStrings platform actively works on audience development, bringing together guitarists and their audiences cross-demographic and cross-generations, breaking down barriers while actively participating in the creation of worthwhile classical guitar experience. We are providing Scholarships to support international education for young guitar players and a specialized EuroStrings Artists Exchange Programme for laureates of international competitions of European guitar festivals.
