The EuroStrings Partner, Twents Gitaarfestival, will take place from the 30th of May to 2nd of June 2019. The festival will host a legendary Duo Assad for a concert in Enschede on the 1st of June, and as ambassadors of the Eurostrings project, the famous duo will give public masterclasses to eight Eurostrings Artists, participating in the festival.

On Sunday the 2nd of June the Twents Guitar Festival will join forces with the Cultural Sunday, Music in the Streets and the Week of Amateur Art. With a fingerstyle competition in the city center and an interactive guitar market in the Grote Kerk on the Oude Markt, it will offer an ideal family outing for young and old. For advanced guitar lovers Raymond Nijenhuis will be giving a workshop about his unique collection of Harmony guitars.

Another new feature of the festival is that Eurostrings Artists will be spread across the Euregion, offering concerts of absolute world-level life (Markelo, Gronau, Ahaus, etc.). The EuroStrings Artists that will participate in the festival are Katarzyna Smolarek (Poland), Julia Trintschuk (Germany), Tomasz Radziszewski (Poland), Peter Graneis (Germany), Gábor Hart (Hungary), Radu Valcu (Romania), Yuki Saito (Japan) & Misael Barraza-Diaz (Mexico).
