Ten EuroStrings Young Stars to perform at Twents Gitaarfestival 2018
Ten upcoming European classical guitar players from the platform EuroStrings will be performing in Enschede, Netherlands from 10th to 13th of May at the 13th edition of the Twents Gitaarfestival.
The four-day program of the Twents Gitaar Festival offers concerts of Gerhard Reichenbach, Volker Niehusmann, Alberto Mesirca and The Five Great Guitars, masterclasses of Izhar Elias and Edsart Udo de Haes and workshops at all levels. There’s an open-air podium at De Oude Markt featuring wellknown blues- and pop names like T99, the Mozes Rosenberg Trio and de Johnny Bernhard Forever Band. At the festival, the ‘Young Stars’ present themselves in a broad integrated program with concerts, masterclasses, ensembles and performances, but also give masterclasses to youngsters and guitar lessons to children. A number of them are jury member of the International Kaj’s Guitar Store Competition. The winner of this competition will be one of the 14 ‘EuroStrings Young Stars 2018/2019’.
EuroStrings Young Stars that will participate at the Twents Gitaarfestival 2018 are: Nicola Montella (ltaly), Vedran Vujica (BiH), Dmytro Omelchak (Ukraine), Antoine Moriniere (France), Antero Pellikka (Finland), Boyan Doychev (Bulgaria), Domenico Savio Mottola (ltaly), Raphael Feuillatre (France), Giovanni Tomasi (ltaly) and Giacomo Susani (ltaly).
