Besides performing concerts and attending masterclasses with renowned teachers, EuroStrings Artists Mateusz Kowalski, Simone Rinaldo, Dimitris Soukaras and Viktor Djuknic took part in the outreach activities at Antwerpen Gitaarfestival 2018.

On Tuesday, 11 November, exactly 100 years after the first World War ended, Eurostrings Artists Simone Rinaldo, Viktor Djuknic and Dimitris Soukaras played an outreach concert ‘Now/Then’ in a home for elderly care, where the elderly invited their children and grandchildren to enjoy music together on this special day. Day after, young talents got a teaching experience in the music academies of Temse and Deurne, where they also played an educational concert.

Later, EuroStrings Artists were offered a lecture by Robert Miles (Kent Guitar Classics) on choosing the right guitar and a tour in the famous Luthier School in Puurs, as well as there was a lecture from luthier in residence Zoran Kuvac and a blind guitar comparison test.
