Five EuroStrings Artists have made first steps in the platform’s exchange programme. The first stop was Guimarães International Guitar Festival, which took place from 22 December till 14 January.

The ‘grand finale’ of the festival was reserved for Péter Girán (Hungary), Dmytro Omelchak (Ukraine), Vedran Vujica (Bosnia – Herzegovina), Andrea Roberto (Italy) and Antero Pellikka (Finland), who as EuroStrings Artists had the opportunity to give concerts and masterclasses in Guimarães. Beside learning and performing, the EuroStrings Artists have also challenged themselves as teachers, giving masterclasses to younger generation of guitarists, and been involved in outreach activities at Conservatorio de Guimarães, Laboratório da Paisagem and Associação Comercial e Industrial de Guimarães.
