Audience development activities at Montenegro International Guitar Competition

| Montenegro International Guitar Competition offered a nice variety of audience development activities at their festival. Within the Educational sub-platform segment, 2 educational interactive concerts were organized with two EuroStrings Artists – Vuk Dragićević and Marcell Nickmann who, in addition to playing, also talked about the chosen program pieces. Volunteering campaign and program segment included LIVE streaming of Platform Festival International competition, as well as the organization of concerts of young guitar players interested in a public presentation. Due to weather conditions, one concert was organized in the Hall of Music School Dara Čokorilo in the City of Nilkšič (where many of the young players from other cities didn’t play before) and two online performances of two young Montenegrin guitarists – Anja Janičić (12 years old – winner of the award for the Best Montenegrin guitarist at MIGC 2021) and Kristina Miljenović (14 years old – winner of various prices at international competitions). |
