Applications for this year’s EuroStrings Composition Contest close on March 15th, which means there are only 20 days left to apply and submit your compositions!

Our mission of building a quality contemporary repertoire for classical guitar continues third year in a row. Creative Europe supports young emerging artists, hence why we are looking for European emerging composers up to 35 years of age to submit their masterpieces! To be eligible for applying to the EuroStrings Composition Contest, applicants should have either European citizenship or otherwise be based and active in EU countries/territory (this also includes European countries that are not a part of the EU, but are geographically considered part of Europe).

The winner will be announced on April 1st and will be awarded with cash prize of 1500 € (bruto). Moreover, the winning composition will be performed at 16 different EuroStrings Festivals and be the compulsory piece at the finals of 4th ES Guitar Competition in Petrer, Spain.
