Nelli Kiviaho was born (2000) in Valkeakoski, Finland. She started her guitar studies in Valkeakoski music institute at the age of seven and her first teacher was Tomi Tolvanen. She has been at Tampere Guitar Festival four times (since 2013 to 2015, and in 2018).

Nelli Kiviaho is the third year student of Kuopio conservatoire and her teacher is Markku Laakso. She has been in a few masterclasses, for example Ismo Eskelinen, Andrzej Wilkus and Janne Malinen. In Tampere Guitar Festival (2018), her teachers were Anabel Montesinos, Patrik Kleemola and some of the Young Stars.

Nelli Kiviaho is the EuroStrings Scholarship Winner for the Tampere International Guitar Festival.
