Gianluca Cappetta (Mottola Guitar Festival)
Gianluca Cappetta began the study of classical guitar in early age under the guidance of Maestro Luciano Tortorelli. He has taken part in masteclasses with some of the most important musicians, among which: Leo Brouwer, Carlo Marchione, Göran Söllscher, Paul Galbraith, Álvaro Pierri, Angelo Gilardino, Ernesto Tamayo, Frédéric Zigante, Aniello Desiderio, Marcin, Dylla, Antigoni Goni, Andrew York, Stephan Rak, Judicael Perroy and many others from whom he has always received words of appreciation for his musical qualities.
He won of many national and international competitions, among which we remember:
First prize in the international competition "Incontri Chitarristici del Mediterraneo" (Reggio Calabria).
First prize in the international competition " Leopoldo Mugnone" (Caserta).
First prize in the national competition " Mirabello in Musica" (Campobasso).
Second prize, in 2013, at the international competition "Guitartalent" (Czech Republic)
Second prize at the " Giulio Rospigliosi" guitar competition (Pistoia).
First prize in the " La Chitarra Volante" competition (Bari).
First prize in the European competition of musical performance " Antonio Vivaldi" (Sapri).
First prize for the International " Eduguitar Competition" (Andria)
First prize at the 24th International Competition “Young Guitarists” Mottola (Italy).
He is currently studying with Lucio Matarazzo at Conservatorio Domenico Cimarosa
