Helin Hallik is a new EuroStrings scholarship winner

Helin Hallik has a lot of reasons to celebrate since she just won the EuroStrings scholarship for the upcoming Tallinn Guitar Festival. This Estonian guitarist will visit the festival and attend concerts, masterclasses, and other festival events. Congratulations to her!

Meet our scholarship winner:
Helin Hallik is a young Estonian guitarist. She started her musical studies at the age of 7 in Tallinn Music High School where her main teachers were skillful guitarists Kirill Ogorodnikov and Vahur Kubja. She has given many concerts, both as a soloist and as a chamber musician. Helin has taken part in masterclasses by renowned guitarists such as Paolo Pegoraro, Goran Krivokapic, Łukasz Kuropaczewski, Gabriel Bianco and many others. She has received prizes at guitar competitions, both national and international. Most recognized of them are – 1st place at the Tallinn Guitar Competition, 3rd place at a national competition „Best Young Instrumentalist“ and 3rd place at the Baltic Guitar Festival in Birstonas (2018 and 2019). In 2020 she was chosen to take part in a national television competition “The Stars of Classical Music“ where for 8 weeks she had the chance to play and compete with various musicians in Estonia, including the Grammy Award-winning Tallinn Chamber Orchestra.
