Another EuroStrings Conference offered valuable events for guitarists

08.11.2021.

Another annual EuroStrings conference is behind us! Three days of great music, interesting lectures and beautiful concerts have passed and we couldn’t be more proud. Plovdiv GuitArt Festival from Bulgaria was the host of the conference. Events were organized both in-person and online for all guitar enthusiasts.

The conference was opened with concerts from our EuroStrings Artists, Filip Mišković, Eleonora Perretta and Jack Hancher. Lovro Peretić also performed on an opening day. In case you missed their concerts, you can still watch them here and here. The second day kicked off with masterclasses given by the amazing Pavel Steidl. They are also available online, so you can check them out and see what advice did he give to EuroStrings Artists.

When it comes to lectures, brother Alexander and Kalin Kalinow broke the ice and talked about project writing and management. They explained how to stay current while talking about ins and outs of successful grant writing and managing. Their presentation, as well as discussion after their lecture is available here. On the same day, they also talked about content management in the digital environment that we are all currently facing. If you missed it or you want to listen to it again, you can do it here. Last, but certainly not least, lecture was held by Matthias Röder. He explained how you can move your organization through technology and used the example of Herbert von Karajan.

When it comes to concerts, besides the performances from EuroStrings Artists at the start of the conference, we also enjoyed the beautiful playing from Darko Bageski, a well-known classical guitarist from Macedonia (check the concert here) and Pavel Steidl.

This conference was also a good opportunity for EuroStrings partners to have a get-together in an informal setting. Even though now everyone was able to be in Plovdiv, we all gathered virtually and had coffee time on Saturday morning. This was the perfect way to end another successful conference where we learned a lot and listened to incredible guitar tunes!
