EuroStrings – the European Guitar Festival Collaborative is pleased to announce 23rd INTERNATIONAL GUITAR FESTIVAL JOSÉ TOMÁS
– VILLA DE PETRER that will be held from 16–25 July 2020.

The International Guitar Festival José Tomás – Villa de Petrer 2020 in Spain and Online, will feature THREE EuroStrings Artists:

and in Masterclasses:
Luis Alejandro García (17–19 July 2020) and Pablo Menéndez and Bruno Pino Mateos (17–25 July 2020) will give one-to-one online masterclasses for young students of elementary–medium level.

The three EuroStrings Artists will receive classes from Margarita Escarpa, Marco Socías, Pedro Mateo González and Fernando Espí; and will participate in a conference by the psychologist Jorge Orozco on ‘Behavioural Therapies for the New Normality’.

Apart from the live streaming of these events, the organisers of the Petrer Festival are preparing a special documentary about the three EuroStrings Artists that are coming to Petrer, discussing their experiences at
EuroStrings, how they have lived through the pandemic and how they feel when the project resumes activities and can attend Petrer. They will be recording interviews, rehearsals, concerts and the daily life of each one of them. Television interviews are also planned.
