Tampere Guitar Festival, the most prestigious guitar event in Finland, celebrates its 15^th Anniversary this summer. It will take place on June 3^rd – 9^th 2019 and consist of daily concerts, International Classical Guitar Competition of Finland, guitar masterclasses and lectures. The main artists of Tampere Guitar Festival 2019 are Assad Brothers (BRA), Frank Vignola Duo (USA) and Timo Korhonen (FIN).

As Tampere Guitar Festival is part of EuroStrings project, nine EuroStrings Artists –  Giulia Ballaré (ITA), Tomasz Radziszewski (POL), George Dimitrov (BUL), Emmanuel Sowicz (UK), Viktor Đuknić (SRB), Yuki Saito (JAP), Gábor Hart (HUN), Julia Trintschuk (GER) and Misael Barraza-Diaz (MEX) – will participate in the festival’s activities performing concerts, teaching masterclasses to young guitarists and doing outreach projects Guitar for All at Theatre for Disabled People, Youth Psychiatric Unit and Rajaportin sauna; and Guitar for Kids at Main Library Metso. During the Tampere Guitar Festival, EuroStrings Artists will also get the opportunity to experience Show & Dinner event “Midnight Sun Guitar Cruise” which provides a unique way to experience one of the common secrets of Scandinavia.
