We have another EuroStrings scholarship winner! His name is Ailson Medeiros and he will participate at the upcoming Guimarães International Guitar Festival that will take place from July until December of this year!

Meet our scholarship winner:

Ailson Medeiros was born in Natal (Brazil) in 1998. He got to know the guitar through a friend who curiously introduced him to the instrument that would become his gateway to the world of music. He began his studies at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte under the guidance of João Raone, where he also took classes with Sabrina Souza. He participated in the VI Christmas International Guitar Festival (2018), 6th Guimarães International Guitar Festival (2019). He took classes with Aniello Desiderio (Italy), Daniel Wolff (Brazil), Davide Tomasi (Italy), Renato Serrano (Chile). He is part of the “Camerata de Violões do RN”, “Orchestra de Violões da UFRN”, works as a scholarship holder in the “Musical Tertúlia” Project and is concluding his graduation under the supervision of Eugênio Lima.
